Anza

While at Anza, I worked on the world's most advanced decentralized computing infrastructure, contributing to the SVM ecosystem and the Agave validator, mapping and organizing partners, writing technical articles, and communicating on behalf of the core engineering team.

Numbers

50+
SVM ecosystem partners

Problem

A layer was forming on top of Solana's core, and nobody had a list of it. Network extensions and developer platforms were building on the same base. Who they were, and what they depended on, lived in people's heads.

Validators had the other gap. A core release changes what an operator has to run. People were working from the release artifacts.

Solution

I mapped the SVM ecosystem. Which network extensions and developer platforms existed, and which part of core each one was building on. Partner outreach ran off that map.

I also wrote for operators and developers, on behalf of the core engineering team. Technical articles, release notes, and documentation, so a change to the Agave validator is something you can plan around.

Analysis

The mapping took months. There was nothing to show while it was underway. It changed every conversation after that. Once you know what a team is building, and which part of core it leans on, you can open on their constraints.

Validator operators are a small audience. They already run this in production. They can tell within a paragraph whether you have been near a node.

Result

More than fifty SVM ecosystem partners, mapped and then contacted. The list stopped living in people's heads.

The writing is public, under my name, on the Anza blog. The two slashing SIMDs. The central scheduler in Agave v1.18. Compute-unit optimization with setLoadedAccountsDataSizeLimit. The Solana Labs to Agave fork. Each one is a change operators had to plan around.

What I built

  • SVM ecosystem mapping

Researched and mapped the network extensions and developer platforms forming around Solana's core infrastructure, and turned that analysis into partner outreach.

  • Validator and developer communications

Technical articles, release notes and documentation helping operators navigate complex core infrastructure changes.
