Arm AIoT Summit China

The Shenzhen edition of the AIoT Summit, built for the hardware ecosystem that manufactures most of what the rest of the industry prototypes.

Numbers

800+
Developers

Problem

Most of this hardware is manufactured in Shenzhen, and the developer community there was being served a translated version of a Bay Area event, months late.

Solution

A Shenzhen edition built for that ecosystem rather than exported to it. The same subject matter, programmed locally for the people who build the hardware.

Analysis

An audience that manufactures what everyone else is prototyping asks different questions, and they ask them in their own language. Translating the Bay Area slide deck would have answered none of it. The programme needed speakers who could field those questions live and in the room, which is a sourcing problem rather than a content one.

Result

More than 800 developers.
